Today I want to talk with you about sport and age. God, yes, I can talk about this forever. I’ve heard a lot of times from hundreds of people, “I’m too old for this”. And people, who told me this are not much older than 30 years. I couldn’t believe my ears! Why do people have so many doubts, misconceptions, and how many people around think in patterns. I will reveal to all of you a secret – to train your body, like the mind, is never too late. The movement is life. The more you move, the healthier and more functional your body will be, and the purer your mind.
And again, turning to different disciplines, and scientifically proven facts, I will give you an example. The simplest thing that happens to your body when you exercise is the acceleration of metabolism. All the functions in your body work faster and more intense. Every decade of our lives, the metabolism slows down. As a result of physical exercises, a natural rejuvenation of the body occurs. Not to mention the development of our body enzymes, hormones, and substances that are run during training. All of these is scientifically proven.
Let’s look at the simple example. Take a man of about 50-60 years old, regularly doing sports and a person, who does not pay attention to his body and does not follow his diet. An active person will look a dozen years younger! And it’s not about genetics or any kind of miraculous substances. Doing sports activates your body at the cellular level. Doing sports, no matter which one exactly, you work on your body at the cellular level.
You will say, but those who started at an early age progress much better, and I will answer that this is true, of course. Believe my experience, I train people of different age and complexions. People who are about years old, progress better than people who are in their 30s. Dear ladies and gentlemen, everything depends here on the pursuit and goals. Someone is tuned to the result and strives to improve the quality of life, and someone just walks into the gym, hoping that the coach or sports nutrition will make a miracle!
Therefore, dear friends, there is no need for excuses! Make yourself better at any age, any weight and body type. Aim to the healthy body and lifestyle. I assure you, you will reach an excellent body form, perhaps, even the best shape in your life, as do many of my clients.
