Today I will talk about such an important factor as a dream. We all love to sleep, you will not find a person who tells you the opposite. Our body is programmed to this state because at this time the body “repairs” itself. Each person should sleep a certain number of hours per day. It depends on the age. The younger the body, the more it needs to sleep. That’s why babies sleep 16 hours a day and for people elderly person six or even fewer hours is enough.
The body wants to sleep because at this time the body is restored. It is during sleep that hormones, responsible for the formation of new cells and tissues, as well as repair of existing cells, are produced. In fact, the process of regeneration does not stop ever. During the daily activity, we destroy our tissues, under the influence of physical pressure and stresses, but rebuild and strengthen them during sleep.
The absence of a normal sleep regime affects organisms in different ways. For people, who are active and do sports, the lack of sleep significantly hinders the development very much. But that’s not all, active people very often get fatigue due to lack of sleep. This is not only about physical fatigue, but also about the fatigue of the central nervous system (CNS).
With people, who do not do sports, lack of sleep causes much more problems. Training strengthens your CNS. That’s why, not active people, are more predisposed to stress. Lack of healthy sleep very much slows the metabolic rate and promotes the recruitment of fat. But do not be deceived, people who sleep too much, get the same result as people with a chronic lack of sleep.
I have already described the most important factors of healthy lifestyle and a healthy sleep is one of them. So, like in the case of nutrition, and training, everything should be balanced. It’s not that hard. Just start making small steps. Try to fall asleep 15 minutes earlier every week. In a month it’s already 1 hour. After a few, you are already another person, fresh and full of energy!
