Hello to everyone who reads my articles. Today, we’ll talk about STEROIDS! As you know, I’m professionally engaged in sports, which means I could not leave this topic aside, not just because I tried the steroids myself. But also because some clients, as well as my friends, asked for my advice on this matter. And in general, there are so many disputes and misconceptions about this subject that you can support the ceilings with articles about them. And so, let’s go.
First of all, I want to dispel the myth that steroids are produced for athletes! It is a common misconception. Steroids of any type, along with other medicines, are produced by licensed enterprises. From what it follows that steroids are the medicine. Please understand that as many of you drink aspirin, someone drinks, or injects steroids intramuscularly to get rid of some ailment. Illegal distribution of steroids is another matter, and we will not discuss it!
Let me dispell another myth. Everyone thinks that it is effortless to train and progress with dope. It is not entirely correct. When an athlete uses steroids, he must train much harder than a person, who does not take in anything. Otherwise, he gains a lot of fat, because body assimilates maximum of the food consumed. I’m not talking about indicators of power, which need 100% of efforts to be put.
Mainly, steroids are used for robust and rapid effects on the body. That’s why they are injected intramuscularly primarily. Although there are sublingual, those that need to be swallowed. In sports, steroids are used to accelerate metabolism and assimilation of substances! Also, for rapid recovery of the body after intensive workouts. They are many of them, and they are all different, but this is their primary task in sports – recovery. I will not go into biology or chemistry; there is special literature about this. I’ll tell you one more thing. Steroids, like any other medicines, and even vitamins, can have side effects. You need to consult your doctor before using them. And in 99 cases out of 100, athletes who had health problems after consuming different medicines exceeded many times the permissible dose. Believe me, I know these people personally!
In conclusion, I will say that use of any kinds of doping remains a matter of personal choice of everyone and his/her responsibility. Do not hurry to judge such people. A person who is moving towards perfection at least does not deserve it! Moreover, you do not begin to judge the person who drinks before dinner a glass of wine? Although in fact, it is household alcoholism. That’s all!
Go in for sports! Be healthy!
