Montenegrin Opera festival have received vast European recognition
Operosa Festival was awarded with the prestigious prize EFFE 2017-2018.

After evaluation of the international jury, chaired by Jonathan Mills, the former Director of the Edinburgh International Festival, it has been decided that the Operosa Montenegro Opera Festival (#OMOF) receives EFFE Label 2017-2018.
Operosa Festival received the following feedback:
It is a highly professional festival with clear goals in all three criteria. It brings together young talented artists in complex international opera production, and promotes European cultural values in different ways.
European Festivals Association based in Geneva, has existed for 60 years and in that time, connects the renowned music, theater and other arts festivals around the world. Today this association consist of around 100 festivals in over 40 countries.
This year Operosa Montenegro Opera Festival (#OMOF) will be held from 23rd to 27th of August in Herceg Novi, at Forte Mare historical fortress and Kanli Kula historical fortress, as well as in the Old Town. The program will soon be published.
