At the beginning of the 20th Century, there was a city of Marshal Tito. There were about 13k inhabitants. The city became a part of principality called CrnaGora in 1878. Later on, it was a fast-growing trade & finance center. As a result in 1902, there was first cigarette production opened in Podgorica and later in 1904 the first bank. It was a new era of estate development with the touch of modern.
