Weekly sports tips: The snowdrops
This article I dedicate to all “snowdrops”. For those, who do not know what it is, I will explain. “Snowdrops” are the people who suddenly appear in the gym only in spring, and disappear as suddenly.
Such kind of “athletes” are naive and lazy people. Naive, because they think that the chances of shaping for the summer are real. Lazy, because they are lazy to train on a constant basis, supporting the shape!
I come to the gym seven days a week, and in the spring I always see these “snowdrops”. They attack the simulators, consume a lot of protein cocktails, exhaust themselves with heavy diets and insane jogging. But the result is always one – because of the sudden and aggressive physical impact on the organism, the body quickly gets tired, and the training stops. I the end, there is no result, and the “athlete” claims that the gym did not help him, the diet did not work for whole seven days, and protein shakes, in general, are fake, and so on.
Do not get me wrong, friends! I do not want to shame these people or talk about them badly. All these “snowdrops”, just do not know what they are doing. People do not have the correct knowledge that would help them change themselves. Such “athletes” do not have the knowledge, neither about physiology, nor anatomy and many other important things. I want to shed some light on some points that concern every person who wants to either lose weight (burn fat) or build muscle. Here are these two types of people:
- The first type of people is those who want to lose weight. Imagine that fat that you have eaten over the years (someone 1 year, someone 10 years, and someone the whole life) must be burned under the influence of a change in diet and exercise. And this process should take you a certain time. It is absurd to believe that you can do it in a few months. In our body, nothing happens immediately, no fat and muscle building, or fat burning. All three aspects are a series of physiological reactions taking place in the body. They can be speeded up a little, but by clicking your fingers, you can not change yourself.
- The second type of “athletes” wants to build muscle by the summer. Please understand that this idea is even more delusional than the idea of losing a large amount of fat by the summer. Muscle growth is a micro-rupture and stretching followed by healing. So this is how muscles are formed. This is an INJURY, a STRESS for your body! It takes time to restore and build. Centimeter by centimeter, year by year. Forget even the thought that you can get fit for 3 months. If you do not believe me, ask any sports guy or girl how much these people are training. And I’m sure they will tell you that this is a lifestyle, it’s a continuous work on yourself.
As a conclusion, if you want to look sporty, you need to turn this activity into a hobby called “Healthy Lifestyle”. Train constantly, eat right, get enough sleep, progress. In this case, only success awaits you! If you continue to act in the same spirit and “swing to the fly”, get disappointed … again and again.
