I will tell you my personal story when I got a coach. I believed in him more than in anything else! I carried out all his instructions. I followed a balanced diet, watched how much I slept, how I trained, I got rid of bad habits, because I understood that with the coach I was only 3-5 hours a week, the rest is my work on myself. After 8 months, I raised the bar in 210 kg. With its own weight a little more than 80 kg. I did not prepare for competitions, I didn’t even have such a goal, to lift big bars. My goal was to build muscle, and the strength was in the bundle. I followed the instructions, progress has become a common thing. You tell me, surely I had a good trainer, and I’ve been to it. Maybe I was lucky! You will also have to take a chance and trust!
Even if your trainer does not have a lot of experience, he will help you easily lose 10-15 kg of fat, or build up 10-15 kg of muscles, and if you work on yourself during “off time,” all the results will double. I know that I am a coach myself, and at different periods of my career, I had a different amount of knowledge. Both theoretical and practical. But you must understand that the trainer is not a wizard, but a teacher. No teacher can teach you if you are not doing your homework. I will give a simple calculation.
Your week consists of 7 days and 168 hours. A person sleeps 40-50% of this time, and so remains 84 hours. Of these, training, a maximum of 5 hours. You understand that the rest of the time, people are busy eating different foods and drinking different kinds of drinks, plus bad habits and inevitable stresses. Now you see how much time a person spends in order to slow down his development to the maximum. Not exactly counted, but applied 85% of the time. This is the time when a person should recover after a workout. Otherwise, how to progress. If you eat junk food, poison yourself, do not sleep well, because you want to sit with friends over a glass of wine … and so far … When will the body recover? Have you ever thought? Yes, any coach will be powerless against such a scenario. Or the coach will have to break you in the hall, which is also not an option. You need to change yourself. So help yourself, get rid of bad habits, and watch the food and sleep. Training leaves the coach, he knows what to do with it … Yes, it can get rid of stress much more difficult, but with all the other points, you can progress very well and live a quality life. And in terms of your physical precession, your stress resistance will increase. Listen to your trainers. Think about what you are told. If you do not understand what they are talking about, reprimand. Let you spend most of the training on the analysis of the theory, but believe me, without this in any way. You must understand what you are doing and why. Direct all your thoughts into the body at the time of the exercise, only in this case you will see, you will feel the result! When you wash the task at the moment of execution, you use the right groups of muscles and joints, strain them and safely with the maximum effect do the exercise.
